danny breen is an emmy and grammy-nominated filmmaker with 14 years of experience directing, producing, and writing documentary films and television.
danny broke into the business apprenticing with filmmaker jesse moss and earning a credit on the sundance award winning film the overnighters (2014). from 2016 to 2023 danny worked closely with academy-award winning filmmaker, morgan neville, producing feature documentary films and television at tremolo productions. his latest film, teenage wasteland, premiered at the 2025 sundance film festival, was acquired by magnolia pictures, and will premiere on netflix in the fall of 2026.
danny’s producing work includes the saint of second chances, shangri-la, ugly delicious, they’ll love me when i’m dead, the next thing you eat, killing the colorado and the bandit. his films have played at film festivals around the world including sundance, telluride, tribeca, sxsw, venice, true / false, mama doc fortnight, and the san francisco film festival. you can find his work on netflix, amazon prime, paramount +, hulu and other streaming platforms.
danny is a member of the dga and the ceo / co-founder of aurum pictures.
febe breen
cfo | co-founder
engineer and entrepreneur with experience in managing complex projects in some of the world’s most remote regions, including the mayan forest and the amazon rainforest.
originally from mexico, febe is tri-lingual (spanish, english and portuguese) and has worked extensively in budgeting, planning and executing global environmental projects that conserve and protect key regions of the world.
today, she is transforming her experience in finance into managing a film production company and producing television and films.
febe is the co-founder / cfo of aurum pictures.
